We are Astrid and Sanjay Rao, and we have been sharing our wonderful world at Native Place, in a little hamlet called Kamshet, with guests from around the world since 2003. We stumbled upon Kamshet in 1992 and have been, ever since, studying and discovering the natural, cultural and ancient wonders of this beautiful place. This fortuity also led us to set up Nirvana Adventures, one of India’s premier paragliding
schools, in 1997, which resides in the premises of Native Place. Together we aim to promote cultural and eco-friendly adventure and nature holidays in Kamshet, which is largely untouched by the commercial tourism machine, in a manner which is respectful of local traditions and customs. We, along with our team, look forward to meeting you soon at our
stress-free zone – Native Place.
